questions are a good thing
-
Porch Light provides practical help around the home and genuine companionship for people who could use an extra set of hands. We're not home health care, a cleaning company, or a handyman service. Think of us as someone you can trust to help with everyday life.
-
Anyone who could use a little extra help. Some clients are recovering from surgery, some live alone, some are balancing busy schedules, and others simply appreciate having someone dependable to lend a hand. Every visit is tailored to the individual.
-
Every visit is different, but common requests include laundry, changing bed linens, meal prep, light tidying, organizing, hanging pictures, grocery shopping, errands, and friendly visits over coffee or conversation.
-
For everyone's safety, we don't provide personal care such as bathing, dressing, toileting, medication administration, medical care, or skilled nursing. We also don't perform licensed electrical, plumbing, or major home repairs.
-
Not at all. One week you might want help organizing a closet, and the next you may prefer errands or laundry. Visits are flexible and built around what you need that day.
-
Most visits are scheduled in hourly blocks, but we'll recommend the amount of time based on what you'd like to accomplish.
-
